Discover Strengths & Find Success
Through hands-on experiments with toys and games of skill, and interactions which illustrate brain development, this seminar will:
  • Show parents how an understanding of a child’s strengths can influence their success.
  • Empower parents with effective listening and questioning skills to talk with their child about strengths.
  • Inspire parents with skills that help children see themselves as competent.
BOOST - Teen Rejection & Failure
Did you know that your child will face more rejection during the teen years than he/she will over the entire balance of life? In this session parents gain new sensitivity for the social development that occurs during the teenage years when friends are of utmost importance and fitting in helps to determine identity. This seminar will:
  • Engage parents to feel the pain of rejection and failure.
  • Entice parents to explore what’s “normal” as teens are developing and changing socially.
  • Equip parents with skills to build resiliency in teenagers, and in themselves!
